Measurement and its conversion

We use nos of units for measurement in day to day activity in construction industry as well as in general day to day life.
broadly we do measurement for three types for length, area and volume.

so below is the conversion of units we uses in daily life.

A) Length Conversion : this is singular dimension unit.

1 centimeter = 10 millimeter

1 meter = 100 centimeter

1 kilometer = 1000 meter

1 feet = 30.48 centimeter

1 feet = 12 inches

1 inch = 2.54 centimeter

B) Area Conversion : this is two dimensional unit

1 Sqm = 10.764 Sqft

1 Brass = 100 Sqft

1 Brass = 9.29 Sqm

1 guntha = 1089 Sqft

1 Acar = 40 guntha

1 Hector = 2.5 Acars

1  Hector = 100 guntha

C) Volume Conversion : this is three dimensional unit.

1 Cum = 35.28 Cft

1 Brass = 100 Cft

1 Brass = 2.83 Cum
